Upcoming PEN Meeting

Who owns what? Permissions and Copyright Date: March 10, 2009

In collaboration with the Twin Cities chapter of the National Writers Union, PEN is presenting this free workshop on permissions, copyright, and other intellectual property issues that concern writers and editors. Our featured speakers are attorneys Kenneth Kunkle and Debra Kass Orenstein.
Attorney Kenneth Kunkle works with businesses and individuals. Serving the legal needs of creative professionals, Kunkle's services include copyrights, trademarks, licensing, business formation, independent contractor agreements, and other related services.

Literary property lawyer Debra Kass Orenstein has worked in the legal departments of Harper & Row (now Harper Collins) and McGraw Hill. She was General Counsel to the Lazear Agency in Minneapolis and has been in private practice representing writers, publishers, and agents all over the country for the past 15 years.
