Library Assistant III
The University of St. Thomas invites applications for a Library Assistant III.
This position includes primary responsibility for the successful delivery of circulation, reserves, and interlibrary loan services at the Archbishop Ireland Memorial Library. The person in this position is responsible for assisting faculty, students, and staff; proposing, implementing, and interpreting library policies; circulating and maintaining the collections; and opening and/or closing the library. Responsibilities may include hiring, training, supervising and evaluating student workers.
Qualifications:
Equivalent to a high school diploma and four years of previous library experience including experience with automated library systems required. Bachelor's degree and experience with circulation or interlibrary loans strongly preferred.
