Volunteer @ MLA Annual Conference

Volunteers needed for the MLA Annual Conference, October 3-5, 2012, St Paul, MN
Volunteering at the conference is a fantastic way to network and meet new people, catch up with old friends as you see them, and get in touch with the workings of the conference. It’s also a great opportunity for service to your professional community.
We are in need of three types of volunteers:
  • Registration
  • Silent Auction
  • Room moderators
PLEASE consider volunteering this year, even if you’ve been to the conference dozens of times. It’s always fun to see the people who come by your location—and it always feels good to volunteer. Plus, if you’re an enrolled library student, volunteering can get you discounted registration for the conference!
If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact conference volunteer coordinator Stephanie Hall at stephanie.hall@pas.k12.mn.us. She will be happy to answer any questions you might have and to help you sign up to be a volunteer. Thank you!
(including details about what volunteers will do and a schedule of volunteer shifts)
