Open Access Week at MCTC Library!

This week is International Open Access Week (October 20-26th 2014)!

MCTC Library is celebrating this week and some of your fellow classmates have been helping out!  The Library Community & Outreach Services class created three student projects to get out the word about Open Access:

The first project is a online guide to Open Access: http://minneapolis.libguides.com/c.php?g=140471

The second project is an Open Access pamphlet available in the library.  You can find in on the Open Access book display in the library lab area.

The third project is an event coming up this Saturday October 25th: Open Access Jeopardy will be begin at 2:00pm in the MCTC library.  Stop by to test your knowledge of Open Access and win candy or buttons!

Curious about what Open Access is or why it might be important?  Check out this video put together by PhD comics:

Have a great week!
