"The Board is our biggest need right now. We'd like to have our slate finalized by October, and voting takes place in November. Candidates are encouraged to attendthe Oct, Nov or December board meetings as well. Board membership is a very valuable item to put on a resume--shows leadership skills,volunteer & member recruitment and a chance to learn about governance and management of a library."
