Circulation Coordinator

Position Description:
Bethel Seminary Library is seeking an individual to oversee the circulation functions in the seminary library. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: provide information and assistance to patrons who come into/call/email the library; supervise student workers overseeing shelving, filling holds and VDX requests, and mailing materials to other Bethel libraries and distance students; manage the billing of lost and overdue materials, oversee shelf reading and maintenance of the physical collection; process and maintain reserve materials; provide assistance with copy machines and printers; and interact with other CLIC and MTLA circulation and reserve staff and attend meetings representing the interest of Bethel Seminary.
Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s degree. Library experience, familiarity with Millennium software and biblical or theological materials is beneficial. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. The successful candidate must have proven oral and written communication skills, demonstrated detail orientation, and be able to organize, prioritize and handle multiple projects. Individual must be able to learn library programs, work independently as well as part of a team, and be able to represent the library in a mature and professional manner.
FT, 12 months, 32-40 hours/week, non-exempt
