Position: Customer Service Specialist
Library: Mackin
Requirements:
  • Desire to help others
  • Understanding of library practices
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage several tasks at one time
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a group
Education & Experience:
  • Degree in an education related field
Responsibilities:
  • Customer assistance and support regarding cataloging, processing of materials, and other specialized services related to a library.
  • Assisting customers with a wide range of questions regarding existing orders or assist with new orders.
  • Accurately record details of inquiries, comments, as well as actions taken.
Hours:
  • Full-time day hours
  • Monday - Friday
