Join us on Saturday, May 9th from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. in the MCTC Library's Alternative Press Multi-prupose Space to hear about life after LIT, with specific emphasis on the various educational and career pathways of three LIT graduates.
There will be a social outing to the Third Bird immediately following the panel discussion.

Program Panelists:
Katherine (Kat) Arndt
Graduated
from the LIT program in May 2010 and from the psychology program at
Metropolitan State University. Kat will graduate from the UW - Madison
M.A.L.I.S. program in August 2015. While attending college and library school
Kat worked as an intern and full-time temporary employee at the Minnesota
Digital Library, and as a reference services intern and an Information Commons Specialist
at Metropolitan State University. She is currently working on establishing an
internship at the University of Minnesota Digital Conservancy.
Scott Williams
Graduated
from the LIT program in May 2013 and transferred to the Metropolitan State University
history program, from which he will graduate in August 2015. Scott works as a library technician at
the Dewitt Wallace Library at Macalester College and interned at the East Side
Freedom Library as a cataloger/researcher. Scott will be attending the online
graduate program at the UW - Milwaukee School of Information Studies starting
in September 2015.
Heidi Anderson-Ferdinand
Graduated from the LIT program in May 2013 and transferred to the
Metropolitan State University history program, from which she will graduate in
August 2015. Heidi has works as a public library paraprofessional in circulation.
She did two internships in Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts at the
U of M Anderson Library She also did an internship at East Side Freedom Library
and the Walker Art Library. Heidi will be attending the online graduate program
at the UW - Milwaukee School of Information Studies starting in September 2015.
