Full Time Computer Technician
Job Summary
Provide assistance to District technology department.
Duties and Responsibilities Include
- Basic Computer repair
- Computer and peripherals cleaning and maintenance
- Diagnose hardware and software problems
- Install and update software
- Provide user support remotely and on site
- Assist Tech Coordinator as needed
Qualifications
- Demonstrate skills using personal computer, mobile devices and peripherals
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 2004 and 2011
- Demonstrate basic hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- Exhibit excellent people and communication skills
- Physically able to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to work above ceiling level to inspect and maintain network conductivity
- Drivers license and reliable transportation to travel between district buildings

- Knowledge of Apple and Windows Computers
- Software integration
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Assist with staff training and with maintenance of hardware and software inventory
- Ability and willingness to rapidly acquire new knowledge and skills
