REMINDER: LIBT 1410, 1-credit topics course, "Mobile Technologies in Libraries" being offered this Spring!

Looking to further explore the use of mobile technologies in libraries? Interested in a Spring 2014 LIBT elective credit? Just a reminder: we will offer the following 8-week, one-credit elective course in our LIT program this Spring and there are still seats available!

Topics: Mobile Technologies in Libraries

Course Description: This course introduces students to the use of mobile technologies in libraries. Students will explore the use of mobile devices and mobile applications in libraries as well as mobile services provided by libraries. Students will explore issues of privacy, access, ownership of digital materials, and other issues related to use of mobile technologies in and/or by libraries. Students will be introduced to a selection of relevant mobile applications and have a chance to explore mobile library interfaces.
